Thalang Bicycle Shop

We were on our way to this bike shop to see if we could get some bike boxes. 750 m from the shop my freewheel hub died. Having ridden from Zurich to Istanbul and Bangkok to Phuket. The man was very helpful, he was unable to get the freewheel hub apart. But he sold us two bike boxes,his partner gave us a lift to our hotel and that with the hour he spent working on my bike only cost 1700 baht. A very fair deal I reckon. Great and helpful people. Thank you.

Finishing a bike tour, we called ahead and he had bike boxes waiting for us. He let us pack up there and helped further by letting us borrow tape, scissors, scale, etc . Offered us a ride to our hotel for a fee which we gladly accepted since we didn't really have a plan without our bikes! Thanks Mr P!

Incredibly helpful and friendly. We were finishing up a long bike tour and they packed up our bikes for the plane and were generous enough to drive us to the shipping office and then lunch. They even let us take a shower in the shop! I'd give six stars if I could.

An unhelpful and nervous guy runs this otherwise decent place. If he doesn't like you, or something on his mind, he won't help you at all, just denies the problem. This is my second and similarly unsatisfying visit here. My advice, - avoid. I felt unnerved, frustrated and harassed after the visit. Just avoid this place. Kap.
